No empty stockings this year

I just got back from a meeting with Zyacorp, the parent company of Cinemagic. I believe we were well recieved and we have a good chance of getting our showing in December. I won't know for sure until Wednesday so you all need to keep your fingers crossed. If we get approved, it will be at 10 AM on Saturday December 9th. I figured we can charge $10 for the tickets and the money we get will go to the town Welfare Department for the Santa Fund. This way, we can fill a lot of stockings this year so in a way, you all get to be Santa. We would also have an event on Decmber 14 where we officially hand the check over and you all get a chance to be on TV!
If all goes well and we get our approval, we could hand out pictures of the cast members as souveniers. Who knows, you might be signing some autographs! I would like to have you guys come to get the pictures taken. I have a new black screen and the camera I have shoots with 13 megapixels so it should look really great. We could also use the white or green screens which will allow any background (I have hundreds to choose from)
This event will be a lot of fun and I am pretty sure it will go as planned but like everything else in life, ya gotta wait until it is official.
Now for the Halloween Party, I will have another marketing meeting this Friday and really need you to come. I will invite another reporter so be ready to be interviewed. I need to get volunteers for set up and clean up details as well as people who can cover the event. I plan to invite WMUR so you definately want to help on this, besides, it is for a good cause, ya gotta give back!
I figure we can start at 7:30 on Friday. Sophie, I still have some of those chocolates you liked, assuming my kids did not snag all of them. I also need to hear from you guys to learn of your schedules. I plan to move on to TV and radio appearances in about 2 weeks.
PS, In case you did not know, Double shot is the band we have for the party,,, they open for the Steve Miller Band,, pretty cool!

That's great lauren, I'm still finishing the movie, got my latest technical issues resolve and plan for another all nighter. If I am lucky, I should get it done around 6 AM so I can focus on the marketing materials they need. I can't wait to go full way in marketing, by Friday, I should be free to really enjoy this stuff. I will try for TV and radio appearances, I'll keep you in mind, let me know your schedule, you can leave me a private message on myspace.

Hey Mr. King....How's it going? SOunds like you will be very busy over the next few months. The reason I am writing is because I keep going back in to your official movie site to see if the trailer is working. It isn't and I wondered if it was just me? I did see a blurb on your blotg page from a fellow that said he had trouble too. I beleive this is the site that is linked from the New York thing and it would be a shame if no one is able to view anything. I have seen the trailer off your my space, but others wouldn't know about that, if they were strangers. ANyway just wanted to let you know about this in case it hadn't been brought to your attention.

I was a little off, It is now 5:15 AM and I will finish for the night (day) whatever. I really like the final cut. I still have to add the credits and do a couple of color corrections but it is basically done. Whew! Total time is down from 104 minutes to about 96 minutes, not bad at all. I really like the ending but like every film, I could have done more if I had more time and resources. Still, I am pleased to put my name on it and you guys were so great. I have to shower and get ready for work (the day job). I should be able to get back to this tonight and send it out tomorrow! Some scenes were cut but this happens in all films so please do not be upset if you are not in all the scenes we filmed. Cutting is necessary to move the story along and somtimes, simply because the scene sounded good on paper but just didn't work on film. I definately plan to do more reaction shots in my next picture. Kristin is just wonderful at this.
Well, better get in the shower to wake up for the day!
Talk to ya soon

Hi, the trailer on the "official site" does work, click on the link and when the TV picture comes up, click on the arrow. I am working on a new site but this will take a couple of weeks. Any of you computer wiz's want to help, that's great. Don gave me some great tips and I will try them out.
We are having a meeting this Friday at 7:30. Please make sure to attend, I have lots of good news and we need to plan the party. I also need you to come with your costumes, we need it for the newspaper stories! (hint hint).
Hope everyone can make it!
